ParaPRO LLC is led by a Committee of Managers that includes Bill Culpepper Jr., CEO, Bill Culpepper, III, President, Mike Puckett, CFO, and outside members Brady Justice and John Bernard. ParaPRO has also assembled a strong management team including David Bedich, Director of Trade Commercialization and Reimbursement, and Kerry Mettert, Director of Quality and Regulatory. ParaPRO has utilized a team of formulation, pharmaceutical manufacturing, regulatory and toxicology experts to develop a novel new medication containing Spinosad.

ParaPRO CEO William H. (Bill) Culpepper, is a proven leader in developing specialty products into best of class, growing, and sustainable businesses. Culpepper possesses the entrepreneurial spirit, corporate know-how, and strategic relationships required to successfully develop products into specialty niche markets.

Mr. Culpepper developed his work ethic on the family farm where he was raised in Nash County, North Carolina. After graduating from North Carolina State University, Mr. Culpepper joined the Elanco division of Eli Lilly and Company (www.lilly.com) where he cultivated his ability to develop specialty products for the next 26 years. He was relocated to Lilly headquarters in 1971 after only 5 years with Elanco, and rose to Director of Specialty Products with the responsibility of marketing all Elanco chemical ventures into specialty markets outside of food and feed. Mr. Culpepper grew the business successfully under Lilly and Dow Chemical management. He then served for two years as Director of Government, Public and Industry Affairs for DowElanco’s specialty products.

Throughout his career at Eli Lilly, Culpepper served on the Board of Directors and as President of a number of specialty trade associations and was a founder of RISE (Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment), the Washington D.C – based trade association representing the specialty chemical industry. He also served four years on the RISE governing board and was Chairman in 1992.

In 1993, Mr. Culpepper started SePRO Corporation, a specialty environmental products company with a mission to provide plant protection and plant management products and services that fit specialized market segments that are often outside of the core business strategy of large manufacturers. Today, Mr. Culpepper is the President and CEO of SePRO Corporation, which is the sole owner of ParaPRO LLC.

Mr. Culpepper is also an active participant in helping to develop entrepreneurial businesses in Indiana. He serves on the Bio Crossroads Entrepreneurial Advisory Board.

Mr. William (Bill) Culpepper, III William (Bill) Culpepper, III, President
Bill Culpepper, III brings to ParaPRO over eighteen years of experience in leadership roles in both the life sciences industry and new media technology firms. Mr. Culpepper began his career in new media development in the Research Triangle Park area for the telecommunications, education, entertainment and life sciences industries. For those efforts, Bill received the AV Video & Multimedia Producer Magazines “Top 100 Producers of the Year” award in 1997.

A native of Carmel, Indiana, Bill returned to the Hoosier state in 1999 after accepting a marketing position with ParaPRO’s parent company, SePRO Corporation. While at SePRO Bill has served as Specialty Products Marketing Manager, National Sales Manager, Business Unit Manager, Management Committee member and, most recently, Director of Corporate Development.

In December 2008 SePRO tasked Mr. Culpepper with completing management of ParaPRO’s phase III clinical research efforts to develop Spinosad for the treatment of head lice. In addition, he oversaw the company’s first New Drug Application to the FDA while directing manufacturing initiatives. In June, 2009 Mr. Culpepper was named President of ParaPRO LLC.

Mr. Culpepper served for three years on the Issues committee for RISE (Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment), the Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing the specialty chemical industry. Bill currently serves on the SePRO Board of Directors and ParaPRO Committee of Managers. Bill received a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from North Carolina State University and lives with his wife and three children in Carmel, Indiana.

Michael D. Puckett Michael D. Puckett, CPA, Chief Financial Officer
Michael Puckett joined ParaPRO LLC and SePRO Corporation in 2003 as Controller. In 2004, Mr. Puckett was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and was elected to the SePRO board of directors where he now serves as Treasurer. As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Puckett is responsible for treasury, risk management, and information technology as well as establishing and evaluating the accounting, financial and operating controls of both the SePRO and ParaPRO operations.

Prior to joining SePRO, Mr. Puckett invested 13 years with KPMG LLP serving clients ranging from technology and life science start-ups to automotive and aerospace multi-nationals with revenues in excess of $3 billion. In addition to his auditing, tax and SEC reporting work at KPMG, Mr. Puckett spent a large portion of his career assisting company management with business process development and information technology implementations as well as financing and acquisition/divestiture transactions.

Mr. Puckett holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Bob Jones University.
